Page view

When a web page is actually seen by a visitor, it is referred to as 'Page view'.

Example:
assume a visitor accesses your site through your home page, then he/she browses through the company and contacts pages and finally he/she comes back to the home page. ShinyStat will track 4 page views.

By placing the ShinyStat code at the bottom of the page, the tracked page view will correspond to a page entirely downloaded and displayed by a visitor (*).

In order to read your reports properly, please pay attention not to confuse 'page views' with 'visits'.

(*) in compliance with the international Internet audience measurement standards.
